SHIPPING & RETURNS  ​

At Sukuma, we offer a single shipping option as we believe that our customers should receive their order as soon as is humanly possible. We ship all our orders via next day delivery and they are generally picked up by the courier the day after the order is placed, so providing the order is placed before 3pm, your order should be delivered to you on the 2nd working day.

UK Delivery on orders under £75 - £7.99

Standard UK Delivery on orders over £75 - FREE 

 

Orders received by 3pm, Monday-Friday are usually processed the same day and dispatched with the courier the following working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday-Friday during normal working hours for next working day delivery. 

Orders submitted over a weekend/bank holiday would usually be processed the following working day and dispatched for next day delivery the day after.

We will always attempt to dispatch your order as soon as humanly possible!

 

RETURNS POLICY

In the unlikely event you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply let us know, send it back to us within 14 days of receiving your product(s) and we'll refund the cost of the item(s).

Although, please let us know beforehand by emailing us at info@sukumasports.com with the relevant information.

 

Returned items should be returned to us unopened and in the condition you received them. Please take reasonable care of the item(s) you wish to return as we reserve the right to refuse an exchange/refund and return the goods to you if they are not fit for re-sale.

Please ensure you include your order number and reason for returning.

Products must be in their original packaging, pending product inspection before we can process a full refund.​

WARRANTY POLICY

Sukuma Sports warrants that all products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the applicable warranty period.

If a product is deemed defective by Sukuma Sports, we reserve the sole discretion to repair or replace the product.

This warranty applies only to Sukuma Sports products purchased from www.sukumasports.com or an authorised Sukuma Sports retailer, and is valid only for the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable.

WARRANTY PERIODS

  • Impact Vests: 2 years from the original date of purchase

  • All Other Products: 1 year from the original date of purchase

  • Inflatable Paddle Boards:

    • 1-year standard warranty

    • Extended 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects (registration required within 28 days of purchase)

Accessories included with paddle boards are covered under the standard 1-year warranty only.

 

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE (IMPACT VESTS)

Sukuma Impact Vests are not life jackets and are not designed to provide flotation or keep the wearer’s head above water in the event of unconsciousness. Users should be competent swimmers and always operate under appropriate supervision.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers manufacturing defects including:

  • Faulty stitching or seam failure under normal use

  • Defects in materials (including neoprene, fabrics, and structural components)

  • Failure of zips, buckles, or closures due to manufacturing defects

  • Foam defects affecting intended performance (including impact protection in vests or structural integrity in boards)

 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (including foam compression over time)

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect

  • Damage caused by impacts outside intended use

  • Cuts, tears, abrasions, or punctures from external objects

  • Damage caused by improper storage, transport, or packing

  • Damage caused by excessive UV or heat exposure (including fading, material degradation, or yellowing of glue at seams)

  • Damage caused by saltwater corrosion where the product has not been rinsed and dried properly

  • Damage caused by chemicals, solvents, detergents, or adhesives

  • Damage caused by interaction with other products

  • Use in commercial, rental, or instructional environments

  • Any modification, alteration, or unauthorised repair

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

 

EXTENDED WARRANTY (PADDLE BOARDS ONLY)

To qualify for the extended 5-year warranty on inflatable paddle boards, the product must be registered within 28 days of purchase via the Sukuma Sports product registration page.

Failure to register within this period limits coverage to the standard 1-year warranty.

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any product returned under warranty is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Sukuma Sports is not responsible for items damaged during return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

 

CLAIMS PROCESS

All warranty claims must include:

  • Proof of purchase from Sukuma Sports or an authorised retailer

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Supporting images or evidence where requested

All claims are subject to inspection and approval by Sukuma Sports.

 

REPAIRS & REPLACEMENTS

Any repaired or replaced product will remain covered for the remainder of the original warranty period (or applicable extended period), calculated from the original purchase date.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sukuma Sports shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from the inability to use the product.

Warranty claims and replacements are valid only within the original country of purchase.
